Teaching
Quantitative Methods I (EDPY 505), University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada
- Course Description: This course focuses on teaching statistical models that are used to analyze data from experiments and surveys. Models include simple and multiple regression, moderation, mediation, analysis of variance, and factorial design analysis.
- Role: Principal instructor in Winter 2024; Lab instructor in Fall 2024, 2023, and 2022.
Quantitative Methods II (EDPY 605), University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada
- Course Description: This course focuses on teaching advanced statistical models that are frequently used in data analysis in the social sciences. Models include a logistic regression model, multivariate analysis of variance, principal component analysis, factor analysis, multilevel linear regression, and structural equation modeling.
- Role: Lab instructor in Winter 2024, 2023, and 2022.
Educational Data Mining (EDPY 502), University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada
- Course Description: This course focuses on teaching various educational data mining techniques, such as linear discriminant analysis, cross-validation, bootstrap methods, Lasso and Ridge regression, decision trees, random forests, and support vector machines. The lab component emphasizes applying these methods through hands-on instruction in R and Python.
- Role: Lab instructor in Winter 2024.
